The age of traditional PR is over. The last generation of journalists left 30 years ago. Next came the writers who worked for media companies, but they were dismissed 3 years later. After Matterhorn Business Solutions, Bill Borger Jr. and Matterhorn PR worked together to raise $600,000. for Bill's Mount Everest Expedition in May 2011, Matterhorn PR was born. The collaboration started in November 2010 and Bill became the fifth-ever Canadian-ever to both swim the English Channel as well as climb Mt. Everest. Over $500,000 was raised to support the Calgary Handi-Bus. Bill, together with our Matterhorn PR team, also created a blueprint of public relations strategies and tactics. Since then, this blueprint has been utilized by many of our clients. This venture has been a success because Bill and the leadership of Matterhorn PR have developed a strong friendship. They meet regularly to talk about business strategies and to plan for Borger Group.
