My services include support and counseling for people affected by infertility, grief, and loss related to miscarriage or stillbirth, termination of pregnancy, and prenatal. My style is built on respect, kindness, empathy, compassion, acceptance, and non-judgment. The relationship between us lies at the core of healing and is where real change takes place. Counseling is a partnership. It's a group effort. To make the experience valuable, it's essential that you are involved in sessions. You and I both contribute, but we do so in our own ways. While you aren't expected to complete the entire work by yourself, it is not my responsibility. Therapy should be done in collaboration. Sometimes I'm more passive or non-directive as a collaborator. Other times, I can be more assertive. Your life is your own and you are responsible for bringing about the changes that you want. You can trust me to help you make positive life changes.
