At the age of 12, I made the decision to become a lawyer. My family members and friends heard about my plans and asked me why. I was not inspired by any particular person or event. Only a strong desire to be a lawyer was all I could remember. That is why I spent the majority of my adult life following my calling. Bagdad, a northern Arizona mining community was where I grew. The population of Bagdad was less than 2000 people at the time that I lived there. Bagdad was home to my Dad and Mom, who were both born there. They grew up among the majority of Bagdad's residents. Everyone knew each other and celebrated when things went well for others. We came together when something was wrong and we grieved.
