Spalding Education has been improving and expanding the delivery of training and certification for the Spalding Method in its 2-week-long onsite Reading Foundation Course. The traditional on-site training for teachers is being enhanced by the addition of online resources. This includes a 1-year membership to Spalding Resource Center. Spalding Education will still offer a few hybrid Reading Foundations Courses. The new Hybrid Training Course will offer full online training and 5 days of on-site instruction, instead of the 2-week traditional course. Spalding Resource Center is full of updated and new resources. This includes a library with 100's videos, grade-specific transition guides, lesson plans, materials and other resources. It can be accessed 24/7 via an organized, secure online learning environment. Teachers will find new material, training videos and objective-aligned activities here.
