For 24 years, I've been a graphic designer. Of those, 18 have been spent as the founder and creative director at Tomko Design. My father was a Dayton native and I was able to draw from a sketchbook and pencil when I was a young boy. Growing up in Dayton and Eastlake, Euclid was a lot of fun. My kindergarten and elementary schools were my first years of school. My family relocated to Arizona in 1981 during fifth grade. My pencil was always in my hands and I quickly learned that I had to draw fast when I moved to Arizona. My drawings and characters kept friends and teachers amused, and I eventually made it to Peoria High. There I studied art and skateboarding. Glendale Community College was also on my list. I graduated from PHS in 1990.
