Atelier Artista, is a fine arts school based on skills. Our courses range from beginner to advanced in both drawing and painting. We combine academics with hands-on demos to teach you how to create artworks that are realistically represented. Our Drop-in Figure Tuesday and Wednesday nights are from 7-10 pm. Kids classes are held on Saturdays from 10 to 1. We also offer workshops, private classes, and other events all year round. Calgary's arts community will thrive if we continue to provide the highest quality art instruction and bring in visiting artists, professional instructors, and amazing art. Brian "Bunny", the founder of Atelier Artista and its principal instructor, teaches our main courses. Brian "Bunny", Batista, has his eyes set on mastery. He received a distinction from Alberta College of Art and Design in 2001. After that, he worked in animation and media arts and founded the Calgary Underground Film Festival.
