With 1 in 10 Edmonton kids participating, the Swim Gym is Edmonton's most loved children's sports program. The Swim Gym is designed by Olympic- and International-level coaches in order to improve sport performance. It develops strength, endurance and flexibility as well as speed and aerobic capacity. Swim Gym offers swimming and diving lessons as well as trampoline, gymnastics and other fun fitness activities. Swim Gym members are turning the tide against a trend that is reducing physical activity. Swim Gym is for children aged 6-13 years old, when motor learning and physical development are at their highest potential. It takes three hours to complete skill development and physical activity. Each 45 minute change of sport allows for different mental and physical abilities. Variety not only keeps you energized, but also offers exciting challenges and new opportunities for fun. Our Swim Gym graduates went on to become National Sport Champions or International competitors. Swim Gym alumni have all improved their physical fitness and discovered the joy in sport.
