Monica Dosanjh, a board-certified orthodontist. She was selected by Dr. Ross Jenne in 2012 to become his principal orthodontist as he retired. On June 14, 2014 Dr. Dosanjh took control of Dr. Jenne’s West Island orthodontic practice. The challenges that came with running a busy practice were something she enjoyed, and in 2017, she decided to sell it to move closer to her family. In order to have their twins, Dr. Dosanjh moved with her husband to Ontario. In 2002, Dr. Dosanjh received a Bachelors of Science degree from University of Toronto. She then went on to complete dentistry at Boston University in 2007. After graduating dental school in the top of her class she was awarded the American Association of Orthodontics Award, Omicron Kappa Upsilon for Lambda Mu Chapter award for four years, and the Quintessence Awards for excellence in clinical restorative Dentistry. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and declined to be accepted into an orthodontic special training program. Instead, she chose to become a general dentist in Canada's Arctic. Dr. Dosanjh, a former general dentist, accepted an offer to become a specialist at University of Connecticut. She also received a Masters of Dental Science. She is highly sought-after for her masters thesis in retainers. Yale University also had a craniofacial clinic where Dr. Dosanjh treated patients suffering from syndromes, cleft lips and palates. Following a three-year orthodontic residency, Dr. Dosanjh was employed in Connecticut as an orthodontist before returning to Canada. Montreal was her home for five years, where she ran her orthodontic practice and lived in the comforts of a gourmet paradise.
