Cognitive Behavioral Therapy was what you did. This therapy can be used to identify your drug use reasons and motivate you to stop using them. A doctor cannot make you better. Nobody can make you better except you. The doctor is able to help you improve your health. You are the only person responsible for this transformation. You don't have to put in all your effort at once. It is possible to take small steps that lead to progress. You may have legal, financial, and/or relational issues that make it difficult to get your life back on track. Counselling is available at any time. You may not be able take the OST medication but if you don't address the root causes of the problem you might end up in the exact same spot.
