SUMMARY   Services Excellence Summary

My entire life has been dedicated to the welfare and health of all animals, particularly those who are in greatest need. My home has been blessed with many rescued cats and dogs. Molly was my very first rescue. She was an abandoned and severely neglected beagle. She graduated as a Therapy dog from St. John's Ambulance after a year filled with kindness, love, and respect. Every person she came in contact with, brought joy and a smile. We were blessed with seven wonderful years filled with joy and laughter. Our angel was lost after a long battle against cancer. We now share our home and lives with Inq, Hershey, and Inq, who have all passed away. Skreech, a rescue Bengal called Skreech and Hershey (our three-legged tripod). Then we rescued Sweet Pea, a Foxhound, and a Foxhound named Skreech. After being severely neglected, abandoned, and terrified of strangers for so long she had to be left alone on the streets. Popeye, an 11-year-old Coonhound with a Grade IV murmur and congestive cardiac failure was also diagnosed as she had diabetes. We had to let them go in 2018. Popeye was my 4th and Sweet Pea 6, respectively, of all the wonderful years in my life. Sweet Pea died just before we adopted Beau, an 8-year-old Bloodhound who had spent most of his life in chains. Never again did he experience sadness, loneliness, or chains! Beau died in our arms from cancer in 2021. We are devastated. He was an example of Gentle Giant. Beau passed away in January. We adopted Wyatt, a Bluetick Coonhound-year-old who was shot by his owner because he wasn't a good hunter. Wyatt won't be hunting anything but the bullet. Our beloved calico Hershey died recently, in 2022. She was my 15-year-old feline love. I was there to comfort her. Since I was a veterinary assistant for over 30 years, I am able to administer medication orally as well as injectable. Knowing the different types and sizes of cats and dogs is a plus. For many years, I've volunteered in rescue organizations.
