Thomas Richards was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He has also lived in Germany, Italy and China. Since 1988, Mr Richards has been a lawyer. He lived in Guangzhou (PRC) and practiced Canadian immigration law from 1999 to 2002. His practice now consists of opposing IRPA Removals. This includes hearings at CBSA, IRB and IAD and appeals to Federal Court. He also faces IRB detention review hearings.
