The Ottawa Dance Centre Schools offer general and vocational instruction in Pre-Ballet, Creative, and Classical Ballet, under the direction of an internationally-recognized, Cecchetti- and Royal Academy of Dance certified, professional faculty. Ottawa Dance Centre Schools offer classes in Contemporary Techniques, including Modern Jazz and Hip-Hop. Character and Tap are also available. ODCS does not have a competitive program. Students are guaranteed a training program that is structured from early childhood to the university level. Throughout the course, there are opportunities to perform culminating with the semi-annual holidays and the year-end concert. Studio facilities include sprung flooring, mirrors, and barres. Parking is plentiful in the Centre parking lot, and public transportation is easily accessible. ODCS Alumni include artistic directors of Canadian Dance Companies and performing artists both in Canada and abroad. They also include teachers & directors of dance education programs, Classical & Contemporary.
