SUMMARY   Services Excellence Summary

Our specialty is retraining aggressive dogs. Our Centre is not just a shelter that accepts surrenders. We also have dogs available for adoption. We are also a private training center and offer one-on-one training. Jeffrey and I first met in 2017 at a dog park and found that we shared a passion and love for dogs. We opened the Interactive Dog Training & Psychology Center in Scarborough in 2018. Within a few months, we received calls from people who wanted to give us their dogs due to family issues. We found out that 60% of dogs are returned to rescue organizations after being adopted within the first 1-3 years. This was very disturbing. We talked about it and researched more. It was clear that we needed to act to save the dogs. The same year I had a bite on my leg and was not able walk or work for nearly 3 months. We closed the centre due to lack of funds and mental health. Jeffrey worked from home, doing board and training and house-training. Jeffrey’s Sadee, Jeffrey’s dog of love and devotion passed away in 2019. This has caused us much heartache & pain to date. The world was hit by the Covid19 pandemic in March 2020. The pandemic closed many businesses. Jeffrey and I, however, found a facility of 6400 square foot in North York. We now call it home. This centre is 4400 square foot indoors with 20 kennels, a complete agility obstacle course, and a playground. This outdoor area has 2000 square feet of grass to allow dogs to run, play and socialize. Jeffrey demolished and rebuilt everything. With a small donation, we used some of our personal savings and a few donations to help fund the rescue. Our passion and mission is to assist with rescues both locally and internationally to help as many dogs find their forever homes. We are a No Kill/Skid Row facility. All dogs are accepted, because we know and believe that they can all be trained & rehabilitated to puppy status with positive reinforcement.
