The company will use the proceeds of the financing to fund its development-stage small molecule drug (an allosteric protein Translation Modulator Targeting eIF4E), and first-in–man clinical trials in advanced metastatic Breast Cancer. Funding will be used to expand the company's portfolio of new oncology indications. PIC Therapeutics is focusing on a key mechanism that combines many of the most common oncogenic signaling pathways. This results in cancer cells dying and normal cells being spared. The company offers several advantages over previous methods and simultaneously addresses many drivers of pharmacology.
