In the autumn of 2015, we launched our firm to offer Architecture services in Saskatchewan. We are committed towards Ecological design and sustainable architecture. We are committed to reducing CO2 emissions in all of the buildings we design. Passive House, or PassivHaus has been deemed the best standard for energy efficiency in existing buildings. These low-carbon design principles are used in residential, institutional, and commercial buildings. Layne Arthur, an architect from Saskatchewan was the first to receive certification as a Certified Passive House Designer by the Passive House Institute of Germany. Passive House is the global standard for energy-efficient building construction. Passive House stands for comfort, quality and efficiency. The following principles can be used to reduce a building’s heating and cooling costs by around 10%.
