Art by the River, Saskatoon gives local artists the chance to sell and showcase their work while also giving them the opportunity to share what they know about the art with others. Art by the River, which hosts summer art shows to spread the art lovers to the public, is motivated by the desire to give back to the community. Last year, starting in May we allowed artists to teach art classes at the skating rink by the river on weekends until the end of the month. These events have allowed many Saskatoon residents to have art in their homes that they bought at our art shows, or made themselves in our classes. Art by the River Saskatoon is a great way to share your love for art and artists with you and your family.
