A complimentary consultation is necessary before any treatment. We will discuss your medical history and ask you to bring along a list of all medications and supplements. The consultation will include a patch test and discussion about the benefits, options, and treatment expectations. At the consultation and during treatment, photos will be taken. You should bring clean, dry skin to the treatment area. No make-up, creams, lotions, deodorants. Wipes may be given to you if this is not possible. You are asked to shower or bathe on the morning of your appointment. You are asked not to wear any perfumes or essential oils at your appointment. You must shave the area to be treated with laser hair removal. Within 24 hours, please shave. A fee of $50 will be charged if you are not ready to shave or cannot do it yourself. The fee will vary depending on the area. It is best to avoid bleaching, waxing, or using chemical depilatories for at least 4-6 weeks before treatment and between treatments. Shaving is permitted. Two weeks before your appointment, avoid UV exposure. On a daily basis, apply an SPF 30 or greater No tanning creams 2 weeks before the appointment. Two weeks before your appointment, avoid any other treatments. This includes, but is not limited to, fillers, injections, and chemical peels. Avoid using any products on the skin that can cause photosensitivity, such as retinol and salicylic acids. Patients with unusual moles, spots, or lesions will need to consult their physician before they can be treated. Before you schedule your appointment, please inform our clinic of any changes or new medications. To reschedule an appointment for your treatment of a sore on the face, contact us before you make your appointment. For appointments, wear loose-fitting clothing. *Please be aware that you are the only person allowed into the treatment area during an appointment unless you accompany a minor.
