SaskCanola hosts an annual leadership workshop to help build leadership capability for Saskatchewan agriculture. SaskCanola also awards the Canola Influencer Award each year to an outstanding leader in canola. SaskCanola's Learn to Lead program, sponsored in part by Saskatchewan supporting commissions, helps farmers to develop leadership skills and become future leaders. The curriculum: Participants will be provided with an extensive range of sessions that provide a solid foundation for developing leadership skills. The program covers topics such as teamwork, etiquette and networking. It also addresses media relations, communication, leadership, management of stress, decision-making, government, communications, media relations, juggling responsibility, and governance.
