The Drop Spot Studio, an art gallery located in the Drinkle 3 Building, on Treaty 6 Land, is situated at 117 3rd Ave S. The Drop Spot was created by Kristen Boye and Greg Orre. It is open to artists from all fields of art, whether they are emerging professionals launching their first exhibition or emerging professional artists performing an acoustic surprise set. Sunny's birth inspired Kristen Boye & Greg Orre to pursue their dream and open an art gallery. They wanted to support their careers as artists, while also connecting others with the art they loved. The Drop Wall will refer to one wall of The Drop Spot. The wall will be a rotating display of 6-8 artists. The artists will be dropping new works on a wall measuring 3' x 3'. The drops can contain multiple pieces or a single original work. The drops are available to purchase online and in stores, but they will stay on display for at least five weeks and four days.
