Councill Trenholm State Community College's Truck Driving Program is intended to train students to drive vehicles that require a commercial license. The U.S. Department of Transportation's (DOT) curriculum is used as the basis for a six-week non-credit program that takes students from the basics to advanced tractor/trailer operation. The courses also include non-vehicle (non-vehicle) activities that must be done by the driver. The information is delivered in a question-and-answer format with hands-on instruction to prepare students for their commercial driving license.
