In 1915, the Sisters of Loretto had an ambitious vision. They wanted to establish a university that would allow women students to study and be taught. It was founded with five students, and the first graduating class included only two women. Today's main campus is very different from what it was a century ago. The main campus also looks completely different from the 1983 year Webster University was founded.
