The Sisters of Loretto in 1915 had an ambitious vision: to create a university for women that could admit students and teach them. The institution opened with just five students and its first graduating class consisted of only two women. Our main campus today looks very different to what it looked like a century ago. It also has a completely different look from 1983, when Webster University was established. Diversity and inclusion go beyond achieving a particular goal or using a certain combination of representations.
