My dreams are my guide. I have recently moved to Miami Beach as the mobile app development lead for Demosphere. Demosphere is a software company that manages sports. My job was to improve the user experience and fix any bugs. After running in many half-marathons, I enjoy jogging in the hot with Brady my Transylvanian Dog (Brady). We can cover long distances quickly in high temperatures and at fast speeds. My dog, who is four years older than me, is 29 years old. Since I can recall. It's something I love to do. As a child, I started organizing extracurricular activities in high school. This led to the creation and organization of a few small local businesses. This taught me how to organize and create websites for my clients and other creative tech projects. After graduating high school nearly ten years earlier, I went to Georgia Southern University for my Computer Science degree. After two years of university, I created and organized my own landscape design business (instaSod.com) and professional Christmas lighting business (CustomizedChristmasLights.com) -- and was financially independent for three years because of it! Because technology is time- and money-saving, I spent most of my time managing my digital business from remote locations. However, it felt like I was being pulled back to tech/software because of the greater scale with which I could solve problems. This is due to software's economies-of-scale. This is what brought me to Lambda School, now known as BloomTech, where I studied Python, database design, and machine-learning. A week after completing the course, I was offered the job of a tutor and teaching assistant for web developers from various universities across the country. Javascript was something I had to do on the job, so it became a resolution to study how to create mobile apps. Two of my apps were published on the App Store. I also had two mobile developers contracts. Now, I am a full time employee creating a React Native app for iOS/Android. My favorite thing about my work is reducing the complexity and increasing consistency of my codebases.
