Tampa Bay Black Business Investment Corporation, Inc. is a U.S. Treasury-certified Community Development Entity (CDE). It provides funding and business opportunities to support the long-term success and growth of small businesses. BBIC began as a non-profit in 1987 and provides loans to African-American entrepreneurs. It also serves other ethnic entrepreneurs. The loan volume of nearly $20 million has been contributed by community partners since the inception of TBBBIC.
