We are always looking for new ways to enhance our teaching. Stay tuned! Charlene Shikany teaches drawing and painting. Charlene Shikany began painting as a child. She studied art at Mercer University. Portraits are her main focus. Charlene's works are held in both private and public collections throughout the U.S. Students who are preparing a portfolio to submit for college or high school applications will find her classes ideal. Students learn the basics of drawing. We will help you improve your drawing skills if you have previous experience. You will either choose your favorite medium, like oils, pastels or acrylics or learn them all. Drawing and painting classes include landscapes, still lifes, and more. We can also progress to abstract subjects and imaginary themes as you gain experience. She ensures that every student gets a course of study tailored to their needs.
