Gymnastics classes offer warm-ups and stretching. They also include age-appropriate skill development and multiple stations, including the use of spring floors, parallel bars, and single bars. Mindfulness and the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit will be discussed. Each class ends with a short discussion. Children will be taught meditation and stretching techniques that can calm their minds. As always stamps will be given to people who have demonstrated good listening skills and encouraged others, shown respect, exhibited patience, and done their best. Are you a parent of a child who needs to move around, is active, and be motivated? Perhaps your child is looking for strength, flexibility, coordination, and endurance. Perhaps your child isn't interested in gymnastics but needs an outlet to vent during the pandemic. You don't need to be a professional gymnast! You don't need any experience! The classes last 60 minutes. They include motivational music and body weight exercises. Kids also learn how to encourage one another and develop mobility. Individual goals for the long and short term will be set by agility assessments. Progressive tumbling drills will motivate kids to work towards physical strength to execute rolls, planks, balance poses, headstands/handstands, and eventually more difficult skills in a safe environment. Every class will discuss personal issues and teach stretching & meditation.
