Herron School of Art and Design is a state-accredited, professional school of art and design that has a significant impact on Indianapolis and its surrounding communities. To distribute curriculum, Herron must be accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. In 1902, the Herron School of Art and Design was established in private schools.
