Alan Edelstein was a young, lawyer-turned-CPA who decided in 1968 to start his own business in downtown Boston. Walter Goldstein (also a JD, CPA) and Jerry Jarasitis (another CPA), soon joined Alan. All three of them understood from the start what wealthy individuals, families, and businesses wanted and needed: solid financial information, reasonable advice, and cut-to-the-chase explanations. Edelstein is not just about balance sheets and bars charts. Our team is curious, engaged, and involved. Our goal is to provide a positive client experience, one that revolves around you and your business goals and not formulas or ratios. An organization must have reliable, timely, and accurate financial reporting. Management can then monitor profit and control cash flow. These are vital functions for your company's success. Business owners and executives can also use accounting systems to generate useful information, which helps them make more informed business decisions and plan ahead for growth.
