A licensed psychologist, I specialize in couples and individual therapy. Psychodynamic therapy focuses on identifying the reasons why repeated negative patterns are so hard to break. Therapy is about personal freedom. It's all about having control over our lives and who we are. My goal is to work with couples and individuals in order to change old patterns of behavior that are limiting growth and preventing freedom. Therapy is an open and collaborative process in which anxieties and fears are identified and changed. It is a personal process that requires a lot of effort and can be scary at times. Unsatisfying relationships, depressive feelings and self-destructive behaviors, unhappy work, and unsatisfying work are all often caused by unintentional personal roadblocks that we unwittingly build to keep us safe. Therapy is a safe and private way to discover the causes of life feeling flat, meaningless, or scary. Therapy can help you move forward with great movement.
