Rouge Park, Michigan's largest park urban with its 1,184 acres of land was established in 1925. The park offers four recreational areas, six-miles of paved paths, swimming pools, and a golf course. The natural area of Rouge Park is centered on 4.6 miles along the Rouge River. It offers many miles of hiking trails and mountain bike routes that wind through 400 acres forest, 60 acres native prairie, and a 5-acre marsh.
