Broadway School of Music & the Arts welcomes all students of every race, color and nationality. Broadway School adheres to the principle of nondiscrimination when administering its admissions and educational policies as well as financial aid, instrument loans, and other school-administered programmes. BSMA is guided by its core values: confidence-building and enrichment; education, empowerment, education, training, community building; quality and accessibility. This philosophy is shared by the 450+ National Guild for Community Arts Education members to whom BSMA belonged. Many of the programs offered by BSMA are either free or very affordable. They also offer programming at partners sites, which allows them to reach more people. BSMA is focusing on the Greater Cleveland area and has taken a leading role in revitalizing its Slavic Village neighborhood. This recognition recognizes that the arts can help to foster hope, improve lives, and strengthen urban communities.
