The American Board of Dermatology has certified Dr. Anthony. Anthony is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He joined Cleveland Clinic in 2009. In 1991, he graduated from Notre Dame with distinction. He earned both a bachelor of science degree as well as a bachelor of arts and literatures. Four years later, the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine granted him a medical degree. He completed an internship at the Naval Medical Center San Diego in 1996 and was then assigned to United States Marine Corps Camp Pendleton, as a General Medical Officer. He served in the Middle East with the Marine Expeditionary Unit for two years. After his return to the United States, in 2001, Dr. Anthony finished training at the Joint Army/Air Force Program (San Antonio, Texas). After completing his medical training, he was stationed at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia as a dermatologist on staff and head of Dermatology. The Meritorious Service Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal have been awarded to him. After leaving the Army, Dr. Anthony worked in private practice for five years before joining Cleveland Clinic Dr. Anthony is a dermatologist who specializes in medical dermatology. He also has a special interest in inflammatory skin conditions and venereology.
