Our agency is a small boutique with years of experience developing crisis communications programs and proactive communication plans that elevate brands. Hinson is a member of the board of many non-profit organizations, including The James Cancer Hospital Foundation Board or The Ohio State University Foundation Board. Hinson was also recently elected trustee at Otterbein University. She was previously a board member and chair for Experience Columbus, which supports travel and tourism. Vice chair, she is also a support organization for The Columbus Foundation: The Hinson Family Foundation. Hinson was also a co-founder of Girls with Gears. This grassroots group has raised more than $1million to support cancer research at The James Cancer Hospital, and Solove Research Institute at The Ohio State University. She was awarded the Kent Clapp Medical Mutual CEO Leadership Award in Community Service and was named a YWCA Woman of Achievement. In addition, she received the United Way of Central Ohio's Bob Crane Sr Young Philanthropist Award. The Columbus Foundation and Columbus School for Girls were among the previous board members. Hinson, a New Albany resident and married to Alan Hinson, a residential real estate agent.
