The term "med-spa" is used loosely. Palmetto Breeze Med Spa is different. Our med-spa is located in the Palmetto Skin & Laser Center, Rock Hill. It's supervised by two dermatologists from the Carolinas. They are supported by licensed aestheticians with years of experience and a great spa staff. The Board Certification requires 8 years of training in dermatology, as well as rigorous exams and continuing education. The Botox(r), used for temporary reduction of muscle activity, is applied to the forehead and eye wrinkles. This includes the crows' feet, vertical frowning lines, forehead wrinkles and the horizontal frown lines that run between the eyebrows. Juvederm is for wrinkles that are around the nose or mouth. Chemical peels, medical grade skin care products, and microdermabrasion can improve fine wrinkles not caused by expression of the face.
