ArtWorks Foundation was born out of the WinterArts Holiday Artists Market which was first held in 2009. ArtWorks Foundation is still the largest organization, with a month-long presentation in galleries. However, ArtWorks Foundation also hosts a variety of art fairs, including Art Paired and Art Squared. Art2wear and The Great Exposition are trademarked. WinterArts features regional talent but ArtWorks Foundation also hosts other events that invite artists from all over the country. Regional artists will be preferred. Three-dimensional media include glass, metals, wood, and clay. ArtWorks Foundation is dedicated to helping artists succeed in business and work through education programs, such as scholarships for Advanced Study Workshops at Fine-Craft Schools. Also, we are aiming to establish an endowment for Emergency Relief Grants that will help artists in the area re-enter their careers after being affected by natural disasters and other catastrophic illnesses. We also plan to create a Center for Fine-Craft with studios and exhibition space.
