The College of Graduate Health Sciences was established in 1928. It is part of our University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Graduate-level instruction is offered by the CGHS in order to earn the Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science degrees. These programs include Biomedical Engineering and Biomedical Sciences and Dental Sciences. Our graduates are prepared for jobs in industry, academia and government through specialized education that goes beyond the basic baccalaureate. This is done by advanced research and study. Graduate students with exceptional qualifications can take advantage of a combination AuD/PhD, DDS/PhD, DNP/PhD, DNP/PhD, MDP/PhD, or PharmD/PhD curriculum in the Colleges of Health Professions, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy.
