In my years of experience working in finance, I have noticed that there are not enough resources to educate people and companies about best practices and the basics of financial management. My clients need me to be their resource. When they're planning for retirement, or in taking care of their family members, I want to help them. I am able to provide the personal service that small firms can't, but still have an established firm with the ability to assist in areas smaller firms might not be able to.
