Mitch Moss started his legal career in El Paso as a briefing lawyer for Justice of Eighth Judicial District Court of Appeals, Ward Koehler. He joined a small law firm the following year and began his career as a trial lawyer. While working in small litigation firms for the next ten-years, Mitch was able to learn from the top trial attorneys in Texas while also trying more than 80 cases throughout Texas and New Mexico. These included wrongful death, personal injury, and commercial disputes. The Texas Board of Legal Specialization certified Mitch in Personal Injury Trial Law in 2000. Mitch was recruited to one of El Paso’s largest and oldest law firms in 2003. He continued his development as a courtroom judge. Mitch gained extensive experience in handling administrative and arbitration matters, including professional licensure and employment-related issues. Mitch was also known for being a skilled negotiator. A colleague encouraged him to train as mediator. Mitch quit his law firm in January 2018 to start his own business, Moss Legal Group, PLLC.
