It's a struggle that I have experienced. Over the 25 years I've been managing teams of diverse people, I've seen great successes, suffered painful failures and had to deal with unintended consequences. My corporate experience, as well my education, a Bachelor of Science in Management and an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and my Master Certification in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Purdue University Global helped to propel my passion for my next journey. My most important educational experience was what I gained from my peers, mentors and outstanding leaders. It was an incredible dream come true to start my own business in March 2020. My lease was signed on March 8, and my stay-at home order on March 31. It would be a year that was unlike anything anyone could have imagined. In the thick of the obstacles and the loss of my loved ones as well as a surgical procedure that kept me in bed for three months, I felt right there. But that didn't stop me from moving forward. I had to show others what leaders do in times of adversity. It was all a learning experience for me. Never give up!
