The Claire School of Dance immerses children in the world of dance and music. We offer a variety of programs, from weekly lessons to summer camps. Children 1 1/2 to 6 years old can take creative movement classes and learn pre-ballet, while those 7 and older will be taking ballet, tap, or modern. Students preballet through to modern can perform every spring in an annual original production. Fairy Magic Dance Camp, as well as other camps such as Ooh la La. Paris! Camp Cupcake, Camp Cupcake, and many other summer activities are full of magic and movement. The Summer Intensive is a great way for dancers to stay in shape during the summer or learn new styles. The Claire School of Dance focuses on stimulating children's creativity and imagination. Claire School of Dance, is a boutique dance school that offers professional training in a class size of less than 20 students. This allows each student to receive individual attention and instruction. We offer a variety of programs, from weekly dance classes to performance opportunities and summer camps. Our goal is to improve our students' artistic and technical abilities and encourage their creativity and imagination. Students will learn to move with joy and enjoy the development of their technique and placement. The American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum is followed by our school. ABT has certified many of our teachers. To ensure that our students receive consistent training, all teachers are trained and given curriculum guidelines. Students from our school have received acceptances to Houston Ballet Academy as well as the Alvin Ailey Summer Intensive and the ABT Summer Intensive. They also attend The Rock at HSPVA. Our focus on achievement, camaraderie, and respect for diversity has made us an integral part of Houston's dance community.
