George Williams and Dan Linscomb now retired, created the company to be the trusted advisor to families. The firm would offer clients comprehensive financial planning and tax planning as well as investment management. They also provide ongoing coaching that will help them reach their goals. As such, this was a radically new concept. Although his attorney and CPA offered some advice, he needed to be able to assess all aspects of his financial situation. He began to talk with financial advisors. Although they were able to offer some assistance, their main interest was in helping him find insurance or investments. Soon he realized that he was only getting sales pitches and not real advice. He was frustrated and tried to put it all together with the professionals he knew, but he never felt confident that he was getting the best.
