Hello, I'm Kimberley Cobb. I am grateful that you have visited my website. San Antonian native, I graduated from NEISD with a Bachelor in Elementary Education and a Minor in Early Childhood. Since 1990, I've been working with kids. For more than ten years, I was a teacher at Northwood Elementary in the First Grade and Longs Creek Elementary in Kindergarten, both within San Antonio's NEISD. My husband is wonderful and I'm blessed with two amazing children. One of them is dyslexic. Both of them went through NEISD. My son, who studied Automotive Technology in Kansas, is currently pursuing his Master's Degree. And my daughter, who is studying in San Antonio to become a Deaf Education Teacher in the future. Although I have been retired from teaching in order to be at home with my family and take care of my kids, I still love helping others. My spare time is spent training and rescuing dogs. My three-year old daughter noticed an "difference in her comprehension and language skills." She was referred to me for evaluation and told that it was developmental and she would get better. She was diagnosed with dyslexia in third grade. However, she was already far ahead of her classmates. I taught her dyslexia all that I knew and tutored her in her home for the remainder of her academic life. In 2020, she graduated with high honors. She is a true inspiration to me. But it was hard!
