It's a wonderful moment to see someone smile, when their eyes lighten up and they start to laugh. When someone is passionate and it becomes clear to me, I can see what they are feeling. They are magical for me, and they were one of my main reasons to go to art school and photography. Although I love food, I was 24 when I realized that I had food allergy. It was necessary for me to learn about food ingredients, and how they were made. I was an experienced re-heater and had to learn how to cook. I was inspired to explore and capture the cultural aspects of food. My detail-oriented nature is revealed in food photography, which I didn't know existed. The photos are usually taken in controlled conditions with great lighting. Every element is intentionally chosen. Food is usually left where it was placed and does not talk back. People do! Humans are multilayered and often surprising. People are expressive, talk and move well. My knack is helping people feel at ease in front of the camera. This results in better images. It doesn't matter what way you look, it is about creating and capturing authentic moments. Collaboration is a key component of any successful shoot. Collaboration begins by building a relationship with the client. I listen carefully to their needs and provide creative solutions. My team includes a variety of talented stylists, assistants, and other professionals who work together to create and deliver amazing results.
