SUMMARY   Services Excellence Summary

Studio e is a contemporary art space dedicated to the exploration of new creative territories through an array of talks and exhibitions as well as temporary on-site projects. Studio e was founded in 2014 by Dawna Holloway, a long-time Georgetown resident. Its mission is to encourage artists to push their boundaries and improve their art. Studio e began as a way to create space for emerging artists but has evolved into a place-making project with the many relationships that come from it. Studio e wants to redefine the way a gallery can foster conversation by bringing together independent curators such as Melissa E. Feldman, MAAKE Magazine, and our Micro-Gallery, The Vatican, or pop-up installation on Capitol Hill. Studio e has a global reach as well as a local one. It is like a commercial space with all the heart and creativity of an alternative gallery.
