Murphy Desmond S.C. was a law office founded in April 1931 under the name Kuehl & Crownhart by Frank W. Kuehl & C.H. Crownhart Jr. Crownhart Jr. Crownhart Jr. Kuehl served as Executive General Counsel to the Governor. Later, U.S. John J. Blaine worked as an assistant attorney general. Crownhart, Jr. received his law degree at the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1931. Charles H. Crownhart Sr. was the father of Crownhart. When he passed away, he had served as a judge on the Wisconsin Supreme Court's 1930s Court.
