Janus Galleries was founded in 1985 by a dedicated collector who ran out of wall space. Over 1500 pieces have been added to our collection, which spans more than 300 years. These works include works from the 19th Century through contemporary American, European, and Russian School works. About half of our collection is composed of the remains of artists who have died, such as impressionists and regionalists. A wonderful collection of works on paper and paintings by contemporary talented artists has been compiled. These include bold urban scenes exceptional examples of Russian impressionism American realists and many more.
