Just north of Kennedy Drive, and west of Highway 11, you will find a peaceful, quiet place where you can gather your thoughts to honor the furry member of your family. Sue Porter, a former English Mastiff breeder, has dedicated 5 acres to Westport Pet Memorial since 1982. Sue Porter created a pet cemetery in Dane County, which was lacking one. Pet cemeteries are commonplace elsewhere, but not here. Westport Pet Memorial is home to many families with fur and feathers from all over Wisconsin. This includes dog heroes of local police K-9 and sheriff K-9 Units. We provide the services you need from when your pet dies until its designated burial date. We offer traditional burials in late spring through the late fall. If your pet passes outside our window for burial, we'll hold it free until the next burial date. Our pet preparation center will pick up the deceased animal from you or any veterinarian clinic in Dane County.
