CPED was established in 1944 as The Industrial Management Institute. The Institute was established to fulfill a demand for industry supervisors' specialized training. The School of Commerce and Extension Division of the University of Wisconsin jointly supported the establishment of these Institutes. The Wisconsin Manufacturer's Association provided full support and cooperation. The Wisconsin School of Business Center for Professional & Executive Development has been helping individuals and companies for more than 75 years through customized, immersive professional development programs. To help individuals and companies understand and achieve sustainable changes, we work with them to develop the best coaching, consultation, assessment, and development program.
