Peter signed Lucas up as a soccer player. He spent all season picking grass and creating piles of it. All the children run for the ball at the same time, or they stop and look at butterflies or other cool pieces of plastic. Because the coach is unable to coral the children and keep them on track, Lucas has to choose his own game and isn't getting much soccer from soccer practice. Peter is concerned that Lucas may not be able to keep pace with his peers because he's too small. He chooses daisies over soccer practice. Peter hopes he can participate in sport, but he isn't quite ready. Playing on a team can be as easy as learning how to read. It is not possible to skip reading the alphabet in order to read a book. Before we can kick a football, coaches must be taught how to listen and balance. Our team is able to offer guidance without pressure and patience so that kids can learn the skills to be able to listen to their coaches and understand how they feel and move. More than 22,000 families have been helped by our enriched gymnastics program to help them raise confident kids that are able to excel in all activities and sports.
