She is a registered psychologist, fluent in English and Chinese. Her research interests include special needs children and family relations, as well as immigrant issues. At the University of British Columbia, Dr. Wong received her doctorate. As a professor at both the University of British Columbia, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, she was an integral part of the faculty. She has vast experience in the fields of counselling, education, and rehabilitation. Her services include psychological assessments and treatments for those referred to her by schools, insurance companies and law firms. Her and the other clinical counsellors she has partnered with offer psychological and counseling services in English and Cantonese. Mandarin. Japanese. Korean. Dr. Wong is a member of the Disaster Psychosocial Network within the BC Provincial Disaster Stress & Trauma Responses Services. Dr. Wong has been certified to offer Cogmed Memory Training.
